with reference to the emblem the stars meant something and lightening bolts meant something. I remember having to learn what they meant but I can't remember.

And before the AFCA was AFCC, it was AFCS! That's when John Greland and I were in! I was stationed with John but I could've sworn it was at McGuire! Left McGuire as a seven-level, crew chief, and NCOIC of Training, RAPCON. Went to the FAA. No better place to see how GREAT the Air Force was!

I was an Air traffic Controller from 73 to 78. Served at Williams AFB and Incirlik Turkey

I was a ground radio operator in my first career field while I was stationed at RAF Mildenhall in England.

I worked in the Airways in the 2049th Comm Group at McClellan AFB, California from August 1968 until December 1969. Then worked as a ground radio operator withe the 834th Air Division at DaNang and Song Be in Viet Nam from the end of December 1969 to the middle of November 1970.
